Terms of Service

1. About these terms

XD Studio Lab sells website templates and provides website design and build services. By buying a template or commissioning a build, you agree to these terms.

2. Template licence

Each template purchase grants you a non-exclusive licence to use the template for one website, including for commercial purposes. You may adapt the template freely for that website.

• You may not resell, redistribute or sublicense the template files.
• You may not offer the template, modified or not, as your own template product.
• Demo content, sample images and placeholder text are for preview only.

3. Payment and refunds

Template payments are processed by our payment provider; we never see or store your card details. Because templates are delivered as digital files, purchases are generally non-refundable once access has been granted. If a template is broken or not as described, contact us and we will fix it or refund it.

4. Custom projects

Custom design and build work is governed by the written scope, timeline and price agreed before the project starts. Scope changes are quoted separately. You are responsible for supplying content, brand assets and any third-party accounts needed for launch.

5. Third-party services

Websites we build may rely on third-party services such as hosting, payment, email and analytics providers. Those services are governed by their own terms and pricing, which you accept directly with them.

6. Intellectual property

You own the content you provide. We retain ownership of our underlying template code and design system, licensed to you as described above. We may show finished work in our portfolio unless you ask us not to.

7. Liability

Our work is provided without warranty of uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us for the template or project concerned.
